New Sermon Series Underway – Letters to the Seven Churches of Revelation

The Book of Revelation appears overwhelming with its strange imagery and apocalyptic warnings. But the opening chapters are very accessible. Jesus writes 7 letters to real life-churches in the region of Asia (modern day Turkey). In these letters Jesus points out things the churches are doing well and also areas to improve. We tend to evaluate churches with our own preferences and likes (the music was too old-fashioned; the music was too much like a rock concert). But we would do well to listen to the criteria that Jesus uses when he evaluates the health of these 7 churches. Join us this fall in a new sermon series as we seek to learn and live into Jesus’ vision for the church.
