Grow

There’s lots of ways Christians grow in their faith on their own: Bible reading, private prayer, and devotions.  But we grow more deeply when we connect with others in the church, studying, praying, and serving together as a community.

Presbyterians have a strong commitment to a well-formed mind, leading to an informed faith and a deeper love for God.  We will help you grow by plugging you into a community of friends committed to studying God’s word and growing together.

Our basic level of growth begins with Sunday School classes, but we also have small groups that provide greater opportunities for friendship and depth.  Be sure to ask about our Bible Quiz program for teens, a program that saturates their minds with scripture.

Sunday School at 9:00 a.m.

Join us for Sunday School during the school year.  Classes run from September to May.

Sunday School is a great way for kids to get familiar with the Bible and gain a basic understanding of scripture.  Classes are available for K-12 plus adults.

The adult class regularly studies a variety of topics:  anything from the role of emotions in the Christian life, to the prophet Amos in the Old Testament, to John Calvin’s Institutes of the Christian Religion.  The adult class is regularly led by our pastor.

Small Groups

Small groups normally meet in the fall and winter.  Regular groups are held for men and women and meet either at the church or in people’s homes.

These groups of 8-10 people provide an opportunity to create and nourish Christian friendships.  You will come away challenged (in a good way!), encouraged, and more hopeful in your walk with Christ.

Groups will sometimes meet for a particular focus.  We’ve had parenting groups and hope to offer a small group for teens in the near future.
